Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru as well as a mixed martial art artist fighting for UFC. UFC within the Flyweight Division. She is now in the Flyweight Division. She is the younger sister of her fellow UFC fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's professional career in combat sport began in the form of a Muay Thai competitor. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title before being defeated by Suzane Mller by unanimous vote. Antonina was awarded a medal of silver in 2007 and a medal of bronze in 2008, and an award of gold in the year 2011. Antonina was also named IFMA Amateur World Muaythai Champ in 2016. Antonia began her professional journey in by ringing in 2003. Antonina won the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championships 2012, the Lightweight Lion Fight Championships 2016 and both the WMC World Championships and Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina defeated Isa Tudblad Keskikangas in her last match at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was victorious by an unanimous vote. Antonina shevchenko made her debut in a professional MMA fight in 2002, against Anara bayanova in the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She won the fight via second round TKO as well as winning her following 2-fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003. Her record was of three-three. Shevchenko took a short break from MMA and concentrated on her kickboxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 against Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko defeated Anissa by a unanimous vote and she then beat Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She left in 2018 the league and started competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko fought Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina TKO'd Nievera with her impressive strike power when she clinched by knees to body. Antonina's UFC contract was extended after this win. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hitters' Finale, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko was victorious with a unanimous decision. She lost her second fight with Roxanne Modafferi with a split decision. Antonina bounced back from the loss, and defeated Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke, and was awarded the prize of the night for the bout. Shevchenko fell to Katlyn Cookagian and then defeated Ariane Lipski's three fights. Antonina lost her last fight to Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
