Aurora

Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1996 at Stavanger) is a Norwegian music producer and a vocalist. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval of bloggers in the music industry and media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis group for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are two of her most well-known recordings. Her name was also recognized through a tweet from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed her song Runaway. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memory involves finding a small piano that was in her basement, and being fascinated at the sound it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to take up music more as a hobby than a profession. She started writing songs of her own. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her favourite writers. To counter her mother's suggestion that her children should not be aiming to be famous through their songwriting skills, she instead realize the importance of themselves and their impact on society. The piano was her first instrument at age six and making music when she was 9 years old. She didn't tell her family about it until she turned 14. Aurora had no idea of being a famous singer. The singer says that she simply likes writing songs. She claims that music is her preferred method of feeling anything.
