Ky-Mani Marley was an extremely popular Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was among the richest and most popular. He was a part of Shottas the cult movie with Wyclef. Ky-Mani's first album, Like Father Like Son in 1996. It was then immediately followed by Dear Dad", which hit the top spot on charts in the British chart of reggae. Ky-Mani and Praswell from the Fugees joined together in 1997 and recorded Avenue which was a cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley is the very first musician to play in Midem in Miami the world's largest showcase of music. Marley did a live performance at the Cameo Theatre, which was broadcast by Caribbean News Agency across 36 countries. Marley's name was soon the focus of a bid war.
